Katrena Cohea
Katrena Cohea is the Director and Founder of Different Drummer Dance, a dance studio and online education platform focused on body kind ballet, and bringing mental, emotional, and physical wellness to dancers and dance teachers. You might know her online as @yourbodyimagebff.
Katrena grew up in Northern California, and spent her pre-professional training with LINES Ballet, and San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. She danced professionally with Brisas de Espana, and toured regionally with the company for 4 years.
She graduated from Cal State University East Bay, with a degree in dance and also holds her CBTS from the Royal Academy of Dance. Katrena began creating body image resources for her students after seeing them struggle with self criticism, negative self talk, and fixed mindset. Katrena has been teaching in public and private schools, and implementing the resources she’s created for over 15 years.

Nicole Sabella
Nicole Sabella is a professional dancer, wellness and mindset coach, and dance educator who has helped hundreds of dancers build confidence, fuel their bodies, and strengthen their mindset.
A former core member of the Mark Morris Dance Group, Nicole performed in dozens of works while also teaching, mentoring, and leading wellness workshops worldwide.
She is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Level 2 EFT Tapping Practitioner, and the founder of The Nourished Dancer, a coaching platform offering practical strategies for dancer body image, resilience, and performance nutrition and mindset.
With Love Your Body… or Don’t, Nicole brings her experience guiding dancers in workshops and 1:1 sessions to give teachers and students hands-on tools to navigate body image struggles with confidence!

Decide how you want to use your materials. We recommend using the materials in order, 1-5, over 5 days. The majority of these materials are designed for ages 9+, but we include options for younger dancers, too.
If you like, schedule a live workshop with us! We can guide your dancers through the materials on days 1 + 2, or support them on days 4 + 5 by answering questions, and offering a deeper dive into body image tools.
Come back to these materials over and over again! This isn’t a one and done course! To get the most bang for your buck, revisit these resources every few months with your dancers, and watch their confidence grow.
